Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Now you can uninstall/reinstall, you'll have a safe backup file, and a safe copy. Then copy the entire peachw folder (i'm assuming this is where your company is), to c:\backup as well. Store it in a safe location on your hard drive, say c:\backup. If you wish to reinstall Peachtree, you'll be safe if you do this. Does it just not restore? Does it restore, but then you get errors within Peachtree? ![]() I'll need to know this to go into more detail, as well as what happens when you restore. Again, you haven't give me full info, I don't know if your backups are copies of the company data folder, or. Out of curiousity, were these backups on a cd? If so, copy them to your hard drive first, then go to the properties of the backup, and uncheck the read only attribute. ![]()
